We wish to send out a great big THANK YOU to United Way, Owens-Illinois, Yark Automotive, and Johnson Controls for their participation in the Day of Caring yesterday. Volunteers from these companies not only held a food drive to help feed 50 families at our mobile visit to Woodsdale Park, they also helped provide a number of services at our stationary pantry and mobile visit yesterday. Volunteers helped us sort food, sort clothing, clean, serve families, read along with Let’s Read You and Me, and re-package a ridiculous amount of German Potato Salad! We all had a great time!
