Christmas Shoeboxes
Food For Thought collects toys from throughout the community (individual and corporate sponsors). These toys are then distributed to families in need in our community in wrapped shoeboxes for the holiday season. Last year we distributed toys to approximately 500 families - the equivalent of 1500 shoe boxes!

Typically, someone desiring to donate a shoebox will pick a gender and age range. They then choose toys, books, stuffed animals, art and craft supplies, or (for girls) maybe hair accessories or jewelry. These items should fit into the shoebox they choose, and the shoebox should be wrapped for the holiday. It's important to note that the shoebox and its lid should be wrapped separately.
